Katuah Food Not Bombs!

Want to learn how to garden organically?
For Free?
Katuah Food Not Bombs!  is planting several organic community gardens plots this Spring and we want you to help!
Come to our meetings on Wednesdays at 6 pm, in the downtown meeting room of the Lawson McGhee public library downtown.

Katuah Food Not Bombs serves free vegetarian food to the hungry every Saturday at 3 pm at Market Square in downtown Knoxville.

Food Not Bombs is a global movement that began in Boston in the early 80s and arrived in Knoxville in 1995. Providing free, healthy meals to the hungry is not only a necessary service, but its also a response to the egregious juxtaposition of the bloated US military budget and the growing poverty rates in this supposedly wealthy nation. Every serving is a protest and expression of our desire for a society centered around mutual aid as opposed to mutual destruction.

KFNB has undergone many changes since its inception, but its volunteers are just as passionate and dedicated as ever. Join the revolution by becoming a KFNB volunteer! Come to our serving or attend our meetings every Wednesday @ 6pm in the downtown public library.

We also gladly accept donations, either edible or monetary. Because we are not registered with the government, donations are a challenge. In the past, volunteers have resorted to paying for supplies and ingredients out of their own pockets, on top of donating their time and labor. We cannot continue to provide this valuable service under such conditions. Please give whatever you can spare! Email katuahfnb (at) for more info.
